Une femme recommends: vin blanc
This Honig 2006 Sauvignon Blanc is the new favorite chez nous. It’s light and refreshing without being wimpy*, perfect with an amuse bouche on the patio on a warm summer evening.
*Holds its own against a phenomenal charcuterie platter from Bottlerock.

I’ll be sure to try that! Hopefully my local wine merchant will have it in stock. A reasonable price too. I love a SB during the summer…well, anytime really. 😉
My summer favorite is Gazela, it’s a vino verde, very light, almost sparkly. The alcohol content is a little lower, so you can drink more.
Honig is one of my favorites. I also like Pomelo and Barefoot SB…reasonably priced, too.
My parents don’t drink wine that much and really only like Reisling. I convinced them to try the Honig and they loved it. Laura
