Paris Loot – les bottes!

Still loving these Arche boots picked up in Paris. I’ve had the opportunity to wear them a few times since our return. They are SO comfortable, and look great either with a skirt or pants worn inside or out. Unfortunately I haven’t been able to find a link to this particular style online, but will keep looking. If you have a store near you that carries Arche, do go try some on.

Are they black or grey? And please tell me how you tuck pants into boots and avoid the baggy knee look. I’m either too stupid, or squatting down to child level much too often! I realize i do need to get a pair of skinnies, but I just haven’t found the right ones yet.

materfamilias – thanks! Me too; it keeps them on the casual side.

    Sal – merci beaucoup!

dana – they are black. I tweaked the color and exposure a bit so the details would be visible. One thing I do is stand up and pull the bottom of the pant leg down before I zip the boot. Someone yesterday was recommending those elastics with the clips that go under the foot and hold the pant leg down. She said you can buy them on ebay.

Belle – they are VERY comfy, but are not lined with anything, so while they’re probably plenty warm for SoCal, might not be so much for someone in a snowy climate.

RML – Thanks! Some boot brands offer similar styles with a wider calf. You might want to check out zappos.

Anoninoz – every time I put these on I’m just amazed at how soft and supple the leather is. I’m sold on Arche!

Duchesse – having only seen the Arche styles that are available online here, I was really impressed with some of their heeled styles that are quite stylish. Thanks!

    tiffany – thank you!
