10 Days Of Chrismukkah: Cadeau No.3

Bonjour, Happiness! by Jamie Cat Callan

I dare you to read this book and not be smiling after the first few pages. It’s a delightful read, and a fun reminder that happiness, rather than being something “out there” that must be pursued, can so often be found by slowing down, paying attention, taking pleasure what surrounds us, and making the quotidien something special.

If you’d like to win a copy of this book*, please leave a comment.  Winner will be announced in this post tomorrow.

  1. I would SO LIKE to have this book. I am learning to be happier than I once was, but I still feel I have quite a ways to go. If I win this book, I will also share its wisdom with my friends, all of whom, like me, are in need of a reminder about the fact that happiness is where you find it!

Joyeux Noel to you, and thank you so much for your generousity in this wonderful give-away!!

  2. Please put my name in the hat too. So true about happiness, we had an impromptu dance off at my friend’s house with her 7-year-old twin daughters this week and it was the best fun.

    Happy Christmas!

  3. Because we all need a reminder from time to time and the illustrations on the cover are so charming, please add me to the drawing. Thank you!

  4. Thank you for thinking about your readers this holiday season! Your blog often starts my day, and I would love a copy of this book.

  5. I would love to read it, however, with my luck I’d probably be shipped a book titled “How to suffer enthusiastically and depress every one within 10 yards”

  6. Love the description of this book. If I don’t win, I will have to try to find to buy. It sounds like the perfect thing to keep around to give to a good friend who needs it.

  7. I think I would love this book. Sounds like it coincides with a faborite quote of mine: “Let your net always be cast. Where you least expect it there will be fish.”

  8. I’m a long time reader who never comments – my kids tell me that makes me a lurker – sorry. I love your blog, and I would love to win this book. -Stephanie

  9. I would love to add this book to my collection of inspiring books. I’ve recently lost someone important to me, and, on top of my usual winter blues it’s been a tough couple of months. I’m all about noticing the details and stopping to smell the roses. I hope to do more of these two in 2012.

  10. I am on a quest to impart this kind of thinking to all my certain age friends. Would love to have a textbook to help with those things I haven’t thought to say to them as of yet. Sign me up!

  11. Chere Femme, Que vous etes genereux! We are truly the ones who already have something to be grateful for: your postings, and your thoughtfulness! And this book looks like it would be delightful! (Happy New Year too!) xo
