Over there…

Casual vendredi

Let’s pretend it’s not quite so cold in Paris right now.  We’ll go shop les soldes and then stop for un petit verre du vin and compare purchases.

Today I’m guest posting over at Already Pretty! Click ici!

First let me say, I like the outfit. I wear things like this all the time and own similar pieces – right down to the watch and the shoes. But that said I grew up in the late 60’s and 70’s. Beach Boys, California surfin’ and a constant message that the thing that would make me better was if I was a tall, blue-eyed, blond, surfer girl. Now, too many years later, I am being told that the thing that would make me better was if I was French.

Didn’t like it then; don’t like it now.

I’m just a gal who loves Paris and loves to imagine being there. This isn’t intended to tell anyone anything about what they should or shouldn’t be.

Great outfit. Like you, I’m really liking cognac/taupe colored handbags. I’ll go over and read your post on the Already Pretty site, and again, congratulations.

This is my third attemp to post a comment. Either I’m totally butter fingers today or something is wacked out in blog land.
I love the outfit. I actually have almost all of the components but haven’t worn them together so this will go into my work capsule.
Thanks for your comment on our Little Man. He is adorable and our time with him was incredible. I ache that they live 2000 miles away. Our vacations have always been to warm, beachy areas. Why do I have a suspicion that that is all going to change and I’m going to get to know the Seattle area very well!
Have a great week I’m headed over to AP to read your post.

Deja, this collection of clothes & accessories is wonderful. It grabs me! I particularly love the cherry red wool scarf with the grey and the camel bag. So pretty.

Susan, thanks for the comment and you are right. I made two mistakes. The sweater was a little to heavy and the tights made me bulge. Another lesson learned in my book.
I did put an outfit together similar to above. It worked out very well. I was going to make a post out of it but with company here I just didn’t have the personal time to take the photos.
