A Tale Of Two Kitties

Leopard Scarves

Sure, you could buy the designer leopard print cashmere/wool scarf on the left for over $900, OR you could choose the soft, lovely, lightweight 100% cashmere scarf on the right for $149, and get a free 100% silk scarf (between now and September 9, with any purchase), and free shipping worldwide.

Seems like a no-brainer to me. 😉

Now until September 9, l’affaire cashmere is offering a free standard size silk scarf with every purchase. I have the Animal Spirit cashmere scarf and another solid scarf from l’affaire cashmere, and can attest to the amazing quality of these scarves and stoles. They really are lovely.

L'affaire cashmere

L’affaire cashmere has a wonderful selection right now of solid and print cashmere and wool scarves and stoles. The yarns are sourced from the high altitudes of India, Nepal and Tibet and most are woven on hand looms. If you’ve been thinking about a cashmere scarf for fall, it’s a good time to buy, and take advantage of the free silk scarf offer.

  1. I got all excited when I saw the heading of today’s blog thinking it would feature your neighbour’s cat Lars and your cat!! LOL The disappointment was lessened when I saw it was a blog about leopard scarves – my other penchant!!!! How many leopard items do I have? I’d rather not say!!!! Btw, so glad you had a fun time when you were in the UK despite the weather not being that great. 😉

  2. Has anybody else had trouble with the l’affaire link? When I click on it, my virus protection software prevents it from opening the link, and therefore I am reluctant to bypass the warning. As for the scarves, I’ve never purchased a cashmere scarf, as I have an aversion to anything wool-y on my neck, making it itchy. This one will not do that? Thanks from a cashmere scarf newbie. 🙂

  3. How does it work to get the free silk scarf? Is it automatically added, or do you choose one somehow?

P.S. Kitty shots are always a fave of mine … 🙂

  4. Leopard prints are too exotic for the northern countries, so it is easy for me to pass this one.
However, the YSL one does look better.

  5. I, too, would like to know how to know that the free scarf is included in my order, as that is not obvious on the order page.
    Merci.

  6. Ahhh, so many lovely choices and such a tempting offer! A couple of questions, Susan: I appreciate that the cashmere would be very soft and non-itchy compared to regular wools, but I was wondering if you could comment on the itch factor of their non cashmere wool scarves and shawls? An itchy neck scarf is not a pleasant thing! Also, where can one find scarf/shawl rings these days? I may have to invest in one or two of those gorgeous horn beauties offered by Mai Tai, euros and international shipping, sigh…..the price for scarf nirvana!

  7. I just placed my order, and hopefully it will include a lovely, free silk scarf. There was no mention of the offer anywhere on the site.
