Great picks! Of course, I do love black, stripes and leopard. 🙂
Terrific looks for my own personal style, too. I love the playful necklace. xox
Oh, J. Crew! Where would I be without you? Those pieces could be the backbone of my wardrobe, with Toothpick jeans and their new, longer white shirt thrown in. Happy weekend!
Love the look of that J Crew jacket…that would be worth trying on!!
Pam, I just tried this jacket on yesterday and it’s really a winner! It’s less boxy/shrunker than the “schoolboy” jacket and really a flattering length. The collar can be folded down too.
If I were still working, this would be me! Thanks for reminding me of the wonderful word/style type “gamine.”
That mid century silver charm bracelet looks SO much like mine, that I had to check my jewelry drawer to make sure it was still there! I like these outfits. Well done!
I love those stripes! But I do need a flippy skirt on the bicycle…
I just never get tired of le leopard. xo, N.
The J Crew jacket has beautiful lines. I wonder how it would look on a 5’7-1/4″ wide-shouldered, full-breasted, narrower-hipped frame… It’s tempting to order it and see, but I have fallen way behind on returning web-ordered items. And I don’t have the discipline to imagine fall and order wool now. Adice?
Leslie, as of right now it’s still 25% off, so worth a try.

(available in Tall sizes too) It’s cut with more shape and a bit narrower than the Schoolboy, which would seem to me to be flattering on a variety of body types.
C’est a moi! I used to envy my husband because he could wear basically the same thing to work every day: button-down, pants (khakis or cords), belt, shoes, done. Now that I’ve figured it out, I’m loving the feminine version: pullover or blouse, slim trousers, flats. Add (as you’ve done) jacket and jewelry &/or watch for added polish. Easy, modern, and flattering. Love it!
