Love this t. I got it earlier this summer. It is sheer enough that it does need a nude bra, but you’re right, no under-tank required. Bonus: I totally spaced and put it through the dryer and it was fine.
I like the fabric of this shirt a lot, but in my 60s the scoop neck no longer works for me. That expanse of (age-/genetics-related slightly saggy) skin from neck to chest, and the width of the scoop cut do not look good at all. It’s not a weight issue, I’m slender. It’s an aging flesh issue. That much skin just doesn’t look pretty on me, so I look for other neckline styles now. Does anyone else relate to this?
I have a similar problem, but it’s the neck/chest. It’s the sleeve length on saggy, baggy upper arms. This sleeve just emphasizes the issue, For me, the 3/4 sleeve options are best.

I agree with Linda. It’s a lovely T but I am also in my 60s and although still in fairly good shape showing a lot of flesh in a deep scoop neck somehow no longer looks ok! I like J Crew Ts but an awful lot of them have very low necklines. Their boat neck long sleeve Ts are good for me though.
I ran over and ordered a gold one. Long explanation, but I’m in need of a couple of gold items for the wardrobe next month and decided to give this a go…since it’s double-discounted. 😉 I’m planning to wear a tank or cami under it, so hopefully the low scoop won’t be too much of an issue. Haven’t tried J. Crew in probably 30 years; will be interesting to see how it fits. Crossing my fingers it’s a keeper.

I also in my early 60’s and the deep neckline is a huge no for me as well. I look “ok-ish” but somehow to wear a low neckline screams look here! and no one wants an old cleavage…..sorry! Something does not fit with the shiny silver hair and low neck. Some of J crew is amazing cut out. If I get the regular neckline it is generous enough to be a tugged a small pull downward and not look to chopped up. Just enough neck and upper chest. I am fit and strong but my arms look like old lady upper arms. Something just happens. No sleeveless for me either. I still manage to look pretty dern cute with my accessories and super good jeans and great boots.
