I also love William Sonoma’s French cookbook. I find it less intimidating than Ina’s beautiful book.

I am ashamed to admit that as a non-cable-haver, I hadn’t seen Ina’s show until this Thanksgiving. WHAT a charmer! She almost makes me believe I could cook. Almost.
LBR – Oh, I’ll have to check out the W-S book too. I’ve really wanted to start cooking more again and need all the inspiration I can get.

Sal – I would venture that anyone can cook, but cooking doesn’t have to mean making gourmet meals that look like the pictures. Soups are a great way to start.
