My friend Karen has amazing style and always looks adorable. When we met up on Friday, she was toting this Brahmin satchel, which I know she’s had for a few years. It’s softened up nicely, but still looks beautiful. And as I was holding her bag while she was trying on jackets, I noted how light it was for a larger, leather bag.
I’ve been a fan of Brahmin bags for several years. The quality is very good for the price, most styles are not heavy, and they have excellent interior organization. The croc-embossed leather is very durable, and I think especially in some colors, looks more expensive than it is.
Classic, With Interest
I tend to prefer the simpler, classic styles. In my opinion that croc embossing adds nice texture and interest on its own, and doesn’t need to be mucked up with a lot of details.
The “Duxbury” is one of my favorite styles. This is the smaller version of Karen’s bag. It’s available in several colors. I think this soft blue would be a nice way to lighten up a dark winter wardrobe, and work well for Spring and Summer too. The Pecan color is also very nice.
This little crossbody would be a good day bag for travel or just running errands at home.
If you like something a little more structured and ladylike, this is a nice choice (also available in black and Pecan). There’s also a shoulder strap.
I love a bowling bag style! This chestnut color is very rich looking.
Here’s cute saddle-style crossbody. It’s deceptively roomy for a smaller bag.
Have you owned any Brahmin bags? What style is your favorite?
All Croc’d Up…
A note: this is not a sponsored post. I’m just a fan of the brand. 😉
