Unboxing A Little Bit Of France
We were actually still in France when May’s “My Stylish French Box” (c/o) arrived.
Once we were back home, I wanted to wait until the jet lag wore off and I was feeling caught up with myself so I could savor and enjoy the process of discovering what’s inside. These boxes are always such a treat, and feel like opening a very special gift.
What’s Inside?
My Stylish French Box is a subscription box of uniquely French items, each selected by Sharon Santoni, who writes the blog My French Country Home, and has written several books on French lifestyle. Her most recent, My French Country Home: Entertaining Through The Seasons is a gorgeous coffee-table sized book, full of ideas for table decor, seasonal foods and recipes. You’ll be inspired just flipping through the stunning photos. (You can read my review here.)
Each My Stylish French Box includes a beautifully printed booklet with information about all of the items and the artisan or company behind them.
Some of my favorite items from the May box include this Muguet scented candle from Carrière Frères. The fragrance is light and delicate, perfect for summer.
I’ll put this organic cotton net shopping bag to good use when I visit our local farmers’ market!
I’ve already used the hand lotion from Apicia Paris (and love it!). And I’ll be trying out that dry oil tonight. (If you have frizzy hair, it’s supposed to be good for that too.) These products are organic and contain no parabens.
There’s still time to sign up for the next My Stylish French Box subscription box, which will be shipped in August, and will have a French cuisine theme. I can’t wait to see what Sharon has selected for that one!
Save by signing up for an annual subscription (4 boxes per year). And these boxes make wonderful gifts too.
Disclosure: this item was gifted by My Stylish French Box.

Do you have any August boxes left?
Hi Cheryl, I don’t sell the boxes, you’d need to check with Sharon at My Stylish French Box.
I subscribed for a year, and won’t renew — while I understand their price point, many of the items went immediately in the “regift” or “donate” category. But, looking back over a year, I found several keepers, I did subscribe to her magazine, which is lovely, and I did find some interesting new vendors — the copper foundry, for example, and Apicia, and the lovely french paper napkins. All in all, a worthy experiment.
And a request: I love to give Christmas presents of gift boxes, such as advent calendars, from whimsical vendors, like a tea company, or a chocolate company. I’d love a blog post in fall that lists your favorite selections.
