And the rest of the time, he was naked!

Also, he apparently wants us all to have really big biceps. Have you ever lifted one of his bags? Oof!

hey, we’re both posting bags today!
I heard this nursery rhyme a fair bit when I was young, since I was the little girl with the curl, “right in the middle of my forehead” (to rhyme with horrid, badly, of course).

StyleSpy – that’s why I’ve never been able to commit to an MJ bag, no matter how much I might like the styling. I’ve heard that he’s begun using cloth linings and lighter leathers to reduce the weight, but haven’t picked one up in years.

Mater – but I’ll bet you were never “horrid”!

Karen – true perhaps, but have you checked the price?? Cute shouldn’t be that expensive!

LBR – I bow in awe before your awesome slam (or is that “glam”) poetry skills!

I doubt he personally looks at one, let alone designs them these days.

Everybody, have you seen materfamilias’ new red MO851 bag? Now THERE is a bag.

You know, Pseu, I think you would almost need to go the Dollar General Store for a bag of the latter’s character and panache…

HA! Come on, the second bag isn’t so bad with the “right” outfit! How ’bout jeans?

I thought you were going to go with:
    Little Marc Jacobs
    Designed bags, dresses and makeup
    Eating an assortment of drugs and lack of humble pie;
    He put in his thumb,
And pulled out a handbag that looked like a plum and shoes the looked like mice,
And said ‘What a God damn genius am I!’

Hah! Too right, you. That second bag is atrocious.

I admit, that the first time I ever heard of this MJ guy was, when I started reading these `baggish´blogs. There was SO much of him and in the beginning I was like: What on earth is going on? Am I dreaming or what? These bags are hideous and s o overpriced, they come out nonstop. Today I simply skip the MJ stuff. Live and let live.
