If you’ve left some of your gift shopping to the last minute, not to worry! I have some gift ideas from my favorite small businesses that can deliver those presents in time for Christmas or Hanukkah.
French Kande is offering expedited shipping, check details when ordering. This jewelry line is inspired by Paris, designed and handmade in the USA, and most pieces feature vintage French medallions. Above, I’ve selected three festive pieces with Swarovski crystals:
long necklace | bangle | short necklace
But there are scores of other styles available, including necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings.
My friend Brian of Makeover Workshop has put together several beauty gift sets focusing on lips, eyes, skincare, brushes and more. He’s offering these gift sets at a discounted price, but for a limited time.
Covered Perfectly clothing is designed and manufactured in the US. These tops are made from a micromodal fabric that’s soft, comfortable washable and lightweight. Shipping is free for orders over $47; order by noon on December 21st for holiday delivery.
Above: v-neck top | boatneck top
There are a lot more styles and clothing types offered at Covered Perfectly, including vests, dresses and loungewear.
Do you usually finish your holiday shopping early, or do you tend to wait until the last minute?
Is this what you consider “the last minute?” Obviously, you are an amateur! 😉
Very nice ideas, all of them.
I am still shopping! Great choices here, Susan!
I tend to finish mine early – very early this year, as I did a lot in London and Paris in the middle of the year (but my photobook gifts for grandparents were only delivered at the start of this week). I have one little gift left to buy today and then I am done. But I do tend to add gifts if I see a special something that a close family member will really like.
Hoping you will do another year end post of your favorite outfits of the year. It is a fantastic recap that I still refer to. Although some items are sold out long ago, the styling is great to copy. I only wish French Kande had discounts from time to time like most retailers. Fisher is expensive too but similar items can be found and also on discount sites. Many women will not or cannot buy some of the nicest items. Your outfit recap helps preserve the look, so we can hunt down similar items. I travel the world and appreciate your posts.
I listed two items from French Kande on my “wish” list this year – if not for your blog, I would not have known about this particular “shop”.
Susan, in the email I just received you mention that Brian + MW is currently offering 20% off. When I followed your link to his website to buy some eye shadow, there was no mention on his site of any discounts being offered. Your message didn’t mention any sort of discount code to type in so I don’t know what went wrong. I’d still love to try his eye shadow, but would love to get the discount for this first order.
Thanks for letting me know. It was working last night, and I’ve let Brian know there’s an issue today.
Hi Judy, it should be working now. Brian fixed a glitch and I just tested it myself. Thanks for your patience!
