Note the lovely RV bag she’s carrying in the video.

There are four different short videos (see list upper right hand side of screen). If you position your cursor over the small + on the bottom left of the video screen, a popup gives more detailed information. Amusez-vous bien!

Of course I enjoyed this enormously- the passages of Paris are a favourite delight of mine! Ines has grown her hair a bit longer, and I admire it! Now if I could only manage to walk out of a shop with a new umbrella, without paying!

To say nothing of her tranch and FABULOUS hair. Miss J loves her easy style.

I like that she still wears jeans…

Oh, thank you so much for finding this for us — what a lovely treat!

She is so,so chic all the way to her fingertips. Thanks for sharing, Deja.

What a great picture. Ines is so beautiful. Thanks for the video link.

I’m so sad I can’t access the movies. They just aren’t showing up on my screen. Anyway Ines inspired me to pull up my spanky pants and put on a very cool pair of jeans with heals and went out to meet my friends for a drink. She’s beautiful and I love her haircut!

I want to look like her when I grow up..

Duchesse – I didn’t notice that about the umbrella, but you’re right. I wouldn’t mind having one of those lovely umbrellas, though, and might even pay for one.

Belle – regardless of what she does in the way of self-maintenance, she certainly won the genetic lottery! But yes, she looks fabulous, and her style is formidable..

Miss Janey – I’ll never have that head of hair, but I’m certainly inspired to pull my trench out more often.

metscan – she certainly is! You’re welcome.

WendyB – me too! Now I feel validated in my jean-a-holic ways.

materfamilias – glad you enjoyed. Watching these really makes me want another Paris trip…

Leanne – she really does, doesn’t she?

celiajuno – you’re very welcome, glad you enjoyed it.

  13. April 24, 2009 / 2:06 am

Linda H – I’m so sorry they aren’t working for you. I wonder if anyone’s uploaded to YouTube yet?

L – that’s a noble aspiration! I’d say the same, but I think I may already be older than she is.
😉 But she does inspire me to pull out my trench and my best jeans and flats.

I don’t get the videos either! Not sure why, but I can’t even see any sort of video screen!

Oh, Ines is one of my style icons, but I don’t see much of her, so thank you! I’m with Miss J, the trench and the hair are wonderful. She looks so good and, as they say, “easy in her skin”.

I love Ines. She was one of the eight actresses featured in a recent “Elle” magasine… none of which were wearing makeup! Granted, the pictures were shot in black and white, but she looked fabulous. As did Charlotte Rampling. I want to look like HER when I grow up!

I have a Mac does that make a difference? I will go to YouTube and Ines in and see what comes up. Love love your site!

Had to come back a little late and say that I’m going on retreat this weekend to do my 5-year plan and will also be working on a style inspiration book. I’ve printed out this image because this is EXACTLY how I want to style myself when I’m 52. I’d never heard of ines before. Thanks for the inspiration, lady!

Joan – I’m going to see if I can find a copy of French Elle at any of the bigger newsstands around here. I like Charlotte Rampling too, and would love to see the article.

Sal – you should google her; you’ll find a lot of images! I love her style too; it’s chic yet accessible.

Linda – I’m not sure but I’ve found that link is more compatible with some browsers/operating systems than others. I had trouble with the most updated version of Microsoft Internet Explorer, but did fine with Firefox. Good luck!
