Lately I’ve been on a shoe kick (ha!) and find that a dynamite pair of chaussures are a great way to add impact to simple outfits. I’ve been slightly obsessed with finding a pair of mirrored metallic pumps for some time now. I really thought I’d go for a classic pointed toe heeled pump, but I’ve fallen for these wedges from J.Crew. While these aren’t “walk all day” shoes, that heel feels lower than it looks. They’re comfortable for daily wear (work, running errands) and add panache to casual or dressy looks, work with pants or skirts.
(If you can’t wear a heel, try the Quorra ballet flats, or even the Mirrored Metallic Oxfords.)

These are special! Did you get them? Love to see them on you, with one of your casual-chic looks.
These are beautiful…let us know how comfortable they are!!
Gorgeous! For non-heel, I really like their Viv flats (pointy-toe) which I have in black patent but will probably get in another colour or finish (they’re in metallic as well)
I “impulse purchased” a pair of reflective silver Cole Haan Oxfords. They are likely going back, just because I think they are too flashy (no pun intended) for me…
Shoes?
You’re a tease. Love the metallic!
Have been in serious shoe-want for days (weeks?) now… Yes, I know. My Achilles heel, tra la…
I probably sound like a crank, but… how do you maintain these shoes? At $300/pair (I am admiring the oxfords) sure don’t want them looking ratty in a few weeks. While that is not a crazy price, is there a way to care for them and keep the shine?
Duchesse, I’ll let you know. 😉
