Monday, already?
And we’re bracing for some serious rain today.
On Saturday we braved the crowds and lines, and saw this:
Very. Good. Movie.
It was well written, with some great dialog and complex characters. Funny, sad and intelligent, it’s a story with heart that never allows itself to descend into syrupy sentimentality, a mix that’s too rare in movies these days.

We saw it too! Liked it as well.
This is the next film on my list. It’s nice to know that there are a couple of grown-up films out there and not just the usual adolescent drivel.
And it features Miss J boyfriend…
Good to know. We braved “The Men Who Stare at Goats” and were so disappointed I wondered if The Cloons had lost his touch.
We were talking about this with friends at dinner Friday — everyone wants to see it. Good to know you rate it so highly.
I still need to see it. I need to get out more ;D
I too must see this one, hope it lands here quickly. I seldom go to movies, neither do I watch TV. Instead I listen to the radio, I mean that the radio is on, and if there is something interesting, like news, I put it on a bit louder. Driving the car, I have it on all the time
