Monday, already?

And we’re bracing for some serious rain today.

On Saturday we braved the crowds and lines, and saw this:

Very. Good. Movie.

It was well written, with some great dialog and complex characters. Funny, sad and intelligent, it’s a story with heart that never allows itself to descend into syrupy sentimentality, a mix that’s too rare in movies these days.

  1. Good to know. We braved “The Men Who Stare at Goats” and were so disappointed I wondered if The Cloons had lost his touch.

  2. I too must see this one, hope it lands here quickly. I seldom go to movies, neither do I watch TV. Instead I listen to the radio, I mean that the radio is on, and if there is something interesting, like news, I put it on a bit louder. Driving the car, I have it on all the time
