Short post today, as we head into the July 4th holiday weekend here in the US. First, I want to thank you all for the amazing book recommendations in the comments on my last post! I’m making a list and will be visiting our local bookstore tomorrow. And I second the recommendation for “A Woman of No Importance.” Virginia Hall exhibited such grit, determination, and courage!

Hi Susan: I benefitted from all the reading recommendations too! Thank you to the community for that! And thank you for all the sales recommendations. I’m finding that I’m wearing the Gap knit jeans and the R&B knit jeans on repeat. So comfortable! We’ll be going East in September for a family wedding, stopping first in the Twin Cities to see my son and his wife. We’ll spend 5 days in NYC for the art and culture and food (!) and then on to Massachusetts for the wedding. Next year I hope to get to Europe or the British Isles. At some point I’d like to go to Nova Scotia to trace some family roots as well. Happy and safe 4th!
