Fall Scarves & Jackets: Five Finds That Caught My Eye
The weather here in London has turned cool and crisp, and I’ve been finding plenty of inspiration in the shop windows and on the streets. A few fall scarves and jackets caught my eye this week, so I wanted to share them before heading back out to make the most of my time here.
Quince cashmere square scarf. I’ve been on the hunt for a more budget-friendly version of my favorite Bompard scarves, and this one looks like a good match. It’s 100% cashmere, available in several colors, and is under $40!
Seasonal color recommendations:
Winters: Electric Blue, Dune Red, Lugano Teal, Rich Burgundy, Black
Autumns: Lugano Teal, Teak, Oatmeal
Summers: Light Heather Grey
Springs: Teak, Oatmeal
Free People Jacquard jacket. This one stopped me in my tracks when I spotted it in the shop window, so I had to go in for a closer look. Great for those whose style leans more Natural, Bohemian/artsy, it’s available in several colors, and looks like it runs a little large.
Quince 100% Merino wool collarless jacket. This style works well for Classics and Gamines, or anyone who loves a neat topper. It’s available in several neutral shades.
Varley double-zip knit jacket. This is beautiful in person (great for Springs & Autumns), and I love the double-zip feature. It’s not a super heavy or bulky knit so can work well for those in milder climates.
Quince cashmere tartan scarf. I love this tartan (two other colorways available). If warmth is a top priority, cashmere delivers without extra weight or bulk.
I’ve also seen scarf coats beginning to make an appearance, as well as lighter weight quilted jackets. Loads of classic Barbour too (be sure to size up).
