I love a linen sweater this time of year! They’re comfortable in a range of temperatures, lightweight, and can add a nice bit of texture to a simple outfit. This one from Eileen Fisher is an organic linen-cotton blend, and a new favorite. I also love the set-in sleeves for a neater fit! And unlike a lot of linen sweaters, this one’s opaque enough to not require a camisole underneath.

It’s available in sizes XXS-3X, and a bunch of colors. This color is “Flame,” which is in between “Geranium” and “Poppy” in the Spring palette. (I think some of you brighter Autumns could wear it as well.) Winters, colors Black, White, Geranium (more “Raspberry” from your palette), and Atlantis should work for you. Autumns, try River. Summers, Pearl should work for many of you.

I really like these wide leg linen trousers too. There’s a fluidity to the fabric that tempers the volume a bit, and I love how they move when I walk. And they’re 100% organic linen, so pretty comfortable in the heat. I’ve learned to make peace with the wrinkles, just part of linen’s unique charm. (I could have steamed these out for the photos, but wanted to keep it real about how they look after a few hours’ wear.)

This Bronze color is good for Autumns and most Springs. Autumns, also check out Aegean and Grove. Summers, you might be able to wear Grove too. And of course, Black and White for you Winters. Sizes XXS-3X and Petites! (I think they run TTS…take your usual Eileen Fisher size.

SANDALS

I’d been looking to replace an older pair of leopard print sandals, so jumped on these when I saw them. They run true-to-size. I’m usually a 7 in sandals and 38 was a perfect fit.
