| J.Crew paisley top and skirt |
J.Crew served up some some serious temptation yesterday morning in the form of a “New Arrivals!” email. The blue and orange paisley pencil skirt I picked up a few months ago has been such a wonderful and wearable piece, I’m sorely tempted by this one in the purple and green paisley, and the top too! (And for a bit of history on paisley prints, see this post by Tabitha at Bourbon & Pearls.)
Then there’s this v-neck mohair cardigan in the Good Leopard Print. I can think of a dozen ways to wear this with pieces already in my closet…
And here’s how to hop a ride on the polka dot bandwagon without looking too twee…keep it black and white! Polka Dot Popover.
Love this combination of a Belgian loafer profile with leopard print…
But I have to admit the studded tweed (not two words you normally expect to find in the same sentence!) version appeals mightily to my irreverent side…
Program Note: We have one minor technicality to resolve and then I’ll be able to announce the winner of the Karina Dresses giveaway, so stay tuned!

I really like that paisley dress. And, I note that the length is a bit longer, which is great.
Yummy, all these pieces are very chic, and they all look like “you.” the loafers are especially catching my eye today.
Paisley, leopard, polka dots. What’s not to like?
The black and white polka dot shirt would work for me too. I’d like to see that skirt on you.
Hope that you have a great weekend and that your technical difficulties will fade away.
I love every one of these items, especially the shoes. Fortunately, shoes fit no matter what size you wear and JCrew is way too small for me, but I can dream.
I heart the loafers.
Have a good weekend, you deserve one.
I love the paisley skirt/top! The shoes are all great too! Was never much of an animal print person, BUT I might just be changing my mind!
When you’re little – really little – especially with a generous chest – patterns are a real challenge. But I think the small leopard pattern is workable, and I think that cardi is adorable and flirty!
My only leopard indulgence this season – in fact my only indulgence at all – one leopard print scarf, super versatile, and on sale! I adore it.
Hope your shoulders are starting to feel better. Sending ondes positives (positive waves) your way!
(BTW – What do you make of all the “monster” platforms that just won’t go away?)
Love, love, love the leopard print loafter.
The beige skirt is going to make every woman look 20 pounds heavier…no, no, no!!

The top dress is very feminine, I can well imagine you wearing it. Not to mention the leopard sweater, which is totally your´s !
Like the cardigan. Leopard print seems to be the flavour du jour.
Studded tweed? They look like slippers my Dad used to wear! Tres inhabituels
@BigLittleWolf You mean the Pole Dancer Shoes? I can’t figure out who is actually wearing these…
@J @ Ess Yes, that skirt would be a disaster. Would love to see a version without the pleats.
