Do you wear shoes that are a lighter color than your trousers?

I can only wear white shoes after Derby Day and before Labor Day. I think I’d be physically sick if I broke this “rule.”
Just have to say you’ve been looking fabulous lately! I love this outfit, and I like the nude shoes. Rules, pfft!
A lovely jacket, and I am on my way!

I have some Fluevogs that are quite colourful, but i usually opt to wear them with a similar tone pant, not a strong contrast. So pale purple shoes with beige pants, green shoes with a grey pant, silver sandals with a pale cropped pant etc.
Mind you I just bought some lavender sandals that I’m dying to wear, so I might break the rule and wear them with dark jeans!
Gorgeous jacket!
Well, sometimes my shoes are lighter sometimes darker than trousers. i don’t have a strict rule for that. It all depends on the outfit, mood etc.
I have no light colored shoes, so no is my answer to your question.
No light shade shoes here. Only black, navy and brown. I really don’t know why that is actually.
I do wear lighter shoes in summer with dark pants. I went to Zara today and thought of you instantly when I saw this floral blazer on the hanger. I love how you styled it with a long Chanel necklace, mama like! XO, Jill
Ironically, I also have a pair of nude Cole Haan shoes (although mine are open toe wedges) that I have just started adding to outfits with black pants. I still struggle with it a little but they are super comfortable and a great color for my skin tone.
I like the jacket best with the pale jeans; find the dark heavy for the season, visually, and the contrast sort of jumpy. And you still look terrific! Love the jacket and your new hair colour.
