Back in London & What I Wore
I returned to London yesterday to some absolutely glorious late summer weather! I’m staying with a friend, and it was too nice to linger indoors so we took to the streets and had a lovely lunch on King’s Road in Chelsea. Afterward we enjoyed a late afternoon breeze on the balcony.
It was next to impossible to get any travel outfit photos in Paris. The only mirror was in a dark bathroom, and my room wasn’t big enough to set up a tripod to take full outfit shots. So now that I’m back in London, I’ve prevailed upon my friend Annie to take outfit photos. She has a great eye, don’t you think?
I’ve been wearing these jeans the majority of days on this trip, but I’m planning to mix it up a bit more while in London. And I’ve been happy with my shoe choices; the hard soles have really kept my tendinitis at bay.
I’m putting together a special newsletter for my subscribers with a first peek of my fall style notes from Paris! So be sure to sign up, and follow me on Instagram for more travel updates from London.

I thought this was the stripe shirt from Sézane! It looks great on you, Susan!
I know that dog…tell Annie I said HI
Great look and colors on you. Love the dog, too.
PS When you get home, try a pair of Orthofeet shoes/boots/sandals for your tendinitis. They are known for helping this. They let you wear them outdoors and still return them as long as they get them back within 60 days. I was surprised at how different they feel from other shoes; it took me about 5 weeks to decide my feet loved them. I have the Nira hands free.
I just came back from two weeks in Europe. Wide leg pants everywhere.
You look so happy! Glad you’re having a wonderful visit in London!
Hi Susan, I’ll be in London in early to mid October. Any suggestions regarding outerwear would be greatly appreciated. Also, what size is your Jarbo coat? I’m usually a size larger than you. Did you find the coat true to size?
Glad you are enjoying your getaway and that the weather has been good. Not only do I recognize the dog, but I also recognize the deep teal wall color and the lovely upholstery. Give my best to Annie.
Of course I’ve never met Annie, but you can tell her I love that little dog face!
You with tendinitis and me with my knee and shoulder, we make a great pair in Milan haha. Let’s hope all these things are a bit better next year.

Yes, indeed! fortunately my foot pain has greatly reduced over the trip, even with all of the walking. I’m crediting the shoes. 😉
