  1. A friend just bought that Lands End coat I the dark green. Fabulous color!!! And the zip pockets are so good for travel (we’ll be in Paris in February.)

  2. I bought the Lands End Wanderweight Collarless Packable Down Jacket a few weeks ago — in the incredible blast of happiness called Sunset Poppy. It’s fantastic. I esp love that it doesn’t have a collar or hood, so I’m free to layer over other tops, scarves, etc.

  3. Hi Susan,
Great post today. Who doesn’t like a bargain!
I have a couple about fit questions for you. In the Ruti barrel jeans you posted you bought a size 8. Were these petite or regular? I found the petite sizes have polyester in the fabric mix which I found off-putting. I’m interested in your take since we’re essentially the same size. Additionally, what size did you take in the Nili Logan brown pant to took on your recent trip?
    Thank you.

    1. Hi Penny, thanks! Regarding sizing, Ruti recently changed their sizing from a 0,1,2,3 system to standard women’s sizes. I was usually a size 1 in most Ruti pants before, which their chart says corresponds to size 8. I have the Ultimate Barrel Leg 2.0 jeans in Petite (https://bit.ly/3C2jPm8 ) but the other Ruti pants I own are regular sizing. In the Nili Lotan Shon jeans and pants, I’m consistently a size 4.

      1. Thank you Susan. This was really helpful. I don’t live in a place where I have easy access to shops and shopping online can be iffy especially when buying pants. Tops are a little more forgiving. That said, any information you can include in your posts about sizing would be helpful.

One of my favorite post of yours was the one on underwear from a few years ago. It’s hard to buy, especially online, and is something I put off until I’m desperate. Counting on you!

  4. Thanks for this roundup, Susan. The Athleta Endless pants are fabulous. I wore my black pair repeatedly during a recent 2-week trip to Europe, including on the plane. Now that you let me know they’re on sale, I’m going to scoop up a navy pair.

  5. Susan, I appreciate that you always mention what colors of the products you list best suit which season. I think you’re the only fashion blogger I follow who does that. Thank you!
