Bijoux pour maman
I never worry about diets. The only carrots that interest me are the number of carats in a diamond. ~Mae West
Sure, you could send a bouquet of flowers, or you could send a single, exquisite bloom:
Perchance she prefers pearls?
Retro Sculptural Pearl Pin in 14K, $995 from Beladora2.com. (Love this!!)
Gold South Sea Pearl “Orbit” Earrings in 18K, $4850 from Beladora.com. (Ces sont magnifiques, n’est-ce pas? Totally “Grande Dame.”)
Cultured Pearl Earrings, $495 from Beladora2.com. (Mad Men a-licious! Joan Holloway would swoon over these!)
Peridot and Pearl earrings, $296.25 from Beladora2.com. (Does her style lean toward “elegant bohemian?” These would be perfect!)
Pearl studs with a twist? Bien sur!
There’s much more at both Beladora and Beladora 2. Here’s the best part: for Mothers’ Day, Une femme readers can get a 10% discount at both websites by using the discount code PSEU ! Beladora offers expedited shipping if necessary, so no worries about receiving those gems in time.

Oh those yellow pearls…and the diamond rose.
I especially love the pearl earrings!
Yes please to the Joan from Mad Men pearl earrings!
Pseu, these pieces look fabulous! Thank you for the links.
All gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous but I am particularly fond of the grey pearls with the diamond – last photo … – yes please. x
All lovely…I would say send all of the above please 🙂 xv
I pick the last three things from Beladora2. Love your discoveries.
Gorgeousness. But is it wrong that I would rather keep these beauties for myself and send my mother a FTD bouquet?;-)
All gorgeous. Stopping in for a little drool over at Beladora with my morning coffee is a terrible habit.
I love those peridots.
IMO one has to be careful giving women in their 70s-80s or older retro jewels. They often look dated to them; it would be rather like giving you ’80s pieces. It might work, but Victorian, possibly deco and contemporary are generally well received.
My favorite is the first one, the one in white gold. Even with the -10%, it still is quite expensive, out of reach.
Oooh, lovely. Reminds me to pull out the peridot drop earrings I wore when I got married …
