Bonne Année!
Lunar eclipse over Mont-Saint-Michel, Normandy, France. |
Departing from the usual New Year’s iconography, I thought I’d share this amazing picture of last month’s lunar eclipse. This picture and more from here. (Thanks, Sis, for the link!)
I wish you all a year of happiness, health, love, prosperity, peace and dreams come true. Happy New Year!

Stunning photograph! I can’t think of Mt. St. Michel without thinking of a description I once read of tides moving too fast for a galloping horse to escape . . . so dramatic!
Happy New Year!

Dearest Pseu,
Thank you for being you. Thank you for always being there. Thank you for thinking the best of me (re. the hacked e-mail business). Thank you for your creative writing and clear-eyed take on the world. Thank you for your friendship.
I hope you and all those you hold near and dear have the most wonderful of new years and all your wishes and dreams are fulfilled.
xo,
Tish
P.S.: Years ago I threw an Open House(!) party on January 1st, and as is my wont had tons of food and libations. My French friends showed up — probably out of friendship — ate absolutely nothing and either held a glass of wine for hours or drank water. They were FINISHED with eating and celebrating. They had moved on to payback and it didn’t include anything on offer chez nous.
Happy New Year to you! I know that your magnificent blog will continue to delight and inspire me through 2011.
Wishing you and your family a wonderful new year.
Thank you so much for all your wonderful blog posts in 2010, especially your how to videos. They were one of the highlights of my blog world in 2010.
Amazing photo!
