Chico’s brings the twist…

For those of you who haven’t given up the costume/fun jewelry habit:

This pendant necklace is seriously cool, and a great deal at $36.  Hanging from multiple chains, the chunky lucite “crystals” reflect light up onto the face, and it looks great worn with a v-neck.

For those of us with small wrists/hands, sometimes nice bangle or cuff bracelets are just too big.  This elastacized bracelet provides plenty of effect that won’t slip off.

  1. Oh, I so agree.

I have been such a rotten friend lately, please forgive me. Just played catch-up and feel as if I should take a nap now that I’ve read your ambitious landscape gardening project. Can’t wait for your “after” pix.

Also, the orange top? I would have been terrified of it, but all of a sudden you turned it into something magic that changed every piece it touched. Brilliant. But then again, one expects no less from you my chere.

    xo, Tish

  2. OMG, was playing around with pictures on my blog — in a moment of mid-life crisis angst. I didn’t think it would appear like that. Now it will come up twice.

I’ve got to run home to correct the error. Wouldn’t want anyone to think a femme d’un certain age is 22-years-old.

    Yikes!

  3. I was trying to moderate the costume jewelry habit for a while, but it’s just such an easy, fun way to add a “POP” to the everyday. . . both these pieces would do the trick quite nicely, thank you very much, and as another with a small wrist, I’d love to find a cuff like that here (one of my new lucite bracelets features elastic and it’s much more wearable than some of the standard-sized rigid pieces.

  4. I have done very well at Chico’s in the jewelry department. I got a fantastic necklace there that looks like it came from a very high end store.

  5. Mater, I totally get the small wrist problem–It’s great to find a piece that actually stays above the cuticle level! Long Live Costume Jewelry! It’s still better for you than crack or pills…..

  6. You chose some very pretty pieces. I find them lovely too. But. I have decided to buy only jewelry made from natural material. My only exception is L. Treschow, whose jewelry I have shown on my blog. Her creations are one of the kind, and I have a feeling of knowing her personally. I don´t mind others wearing trendy pieces though. Sometimes I fail on my intentions. I´m only human.

  7. Great taste! Beautiful jewelry …
I ‘ve been liking Chico’s jewelry lately as well …actually I love Chico’s stuff in general :), unfortunatelly very seldomly anything there fits me since I am sz 2 petite :(…so just can really get the fashion jewelry 🙂
