Clare V leopard shoulder bag
Clare V

I really like my Clare V leopard clutch and the visual impact it adds to an outfit. But I’ve often wished it had a strap so I could wear instead of carry. Apparently Clare V had the same idea, and is now offering a similar style with a detachable strap. This one also has a double pouch and is super lightweight. Nice!

  1. Clare V has a wonderful shop on Sunset Blvd. in Silverlake. I discovered it taking a walk near my son’s home, on my visit last month. I did get to see her entire collection that was out at that time. And of course did buy a cream and black pouch….well worth a visit for you……

  2. Love this bag. I’ve taken bags to a shoe repair and had them add hooks so that I could clip a crossbody strap to it. It works great! Only cost about 25.00.

  3. I have long coveted the exact clutch you have. It is not in my budget, so about a year and a half ago, I decided to make my own leopard clutch–by knitting, felting and sewing it. (I think you can see it here: http://www.ravelry.com/projects/LCBraun/pretty-kitty-clutch ) It’s fun—but not the same. Maybe I should add a leather cross body strap, as Jeni mentioned above. Or maybe I should just decide that this new version is something I am going to save for, bit by bit.
