Bien dans ma peau with Colleen Rothschild
When it comes to skincare products, I’ll admit that I’m pretty demanding. They have to be effective, of course, but also cruelty-free. And, they have to feel good. They should be soothing, and should feel as though they absorb into my skin rather than sitting on top.
This post is sponsored by Colleen Rothschild and ShopStyle. All opinions and ideas are my own.

Radiant Cleansing Balm | Beauty Water |
Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum | Extreme Recovery Cream
I’d first tried Colleen Rothschild skincare when I received some samples a couple of years ago. I’ve been meaning to circle back and try more of them (especially once I learned they are cruelty-free) so was delighted when they offered to send me some products to try and share with you.
And the timing is excellent, because during Colleen’s Birthday Sale, you can save $50 on any purchase of $150 or more! (Code HBD50)
My Nighttime Skincare Ritual
I’ll take you through the products I chose, and how I’ve incorporated them into my nightly skincare regime.
First, I cleanse with the Radiant Cleansing Balm. I looooove this cleanser. Just massage a small amount over the face and remove with a damp cloth (there’s a lovely muslin wash cloth included). It gently removes makeup, is soothing, and doesn’t leave my skin feeling tight or dry. Looooove this.
(I’ll get back to the Beauty Water in a moment.) Next up is a few drops of Mandelic Acid Radiance Serum. Don’t let “acid” in the name scare you…it’s actually quite gentle. The Mandelic Acid (AHA) promotes cellular turnover (exfoliation). I’ve only been using for a week, so can’t yet speak to the longer-term effects, but it does seem to keep my skin from looking dull.
The Beauty Water is fabulous! It’s formulated with coconut water and hyaluronic acid, and can be used after cleansing, or as a skin refresher during the day. I’ve been using it both ways, especially now that we’re heading into a dryer season. It feels wonderful either way. I plan to make room in my carry-on liquids bag for a travel size spritzer of this!
And then I finish up with the Extreme Recovery Cream. This feels wonderful, very soothing. It absorbs into my skin and keeps it feeling hydrated overnight. With the low-humidity conditions ahead, I’m going to order some of the Face Oil No. 9 for extra hydration.
No matter our age, healthy, glowing skin is always in.
Remember, save $50 of any $150+ purchase with code HBD50. There is free shipping on all US orders, and a 30-day money-back guarantee. The Discovery Collection is also on sale. It includes travel-sizes of the best-selling Colleen Rothschild products, including the Radiant Cleansing Balm and Extreme Recovery Cream.

Your skin looks fantastic.
Thanks, Lisa!
Lovely skin, Susan!
Thanks, Rondi!
Your skin looks beautiful! I wish I’d seen this sooner. Would’ve ordered the travel size for my trip. Right now I’m using Dermalogica having switched from Murad. I used Murad for about a year and was noticing a change in the efficacy of the products. I’m about 2 weeks in with my Dermalogica and haven’t really noticed a difference I do love their Dynamic Skin Recovery with the SPF50. Not so much with their PreCleanse Balm. Very thick coming out of the tube.
