Dude, Where’s My Oxygen?
Wandering around Beaver Creek Village, I can’t help but be reminded of some of my blogger friends.
Belle, this guy (who is a has been a fixture here in the afternoons for at least the last 15 years) shares your love of Trachten style, though takes it quite literally. The kids love him. Right after I took the picture below, he began playing Beethoven’s 9th on that horn.
I saw this pillow at Gorsuch, which reminded me of La Belette Rouge and her adorable puppy, Lily.
And also at Gorsuch, a sign to make Wendy B. swoon:
In a little while we’re off to check out “Disco Night” at the ice rink (no we don’t skate, we just sip hot cocoa and watch), and then back to the condo to cook up a big ol’ batch of turkey spaghetti. Tomorrow, it’s up with the sun to hit the slopes!
Later this week, weather permitting, I’ll be meeting Rita from Goldivas!

Prada, 50% off?!? *starts climbing mountain to get to the sale.*
OMG…a little bit of Alpine heaven without having to fly to Zurich!
I’m glad that your weather conditions are great…there’s nothing like spring skiing on Colorado snow!
Thanks for sharing this mountain paradise with us! Spring skiing is one of the great pleasures of life.
I’m looking forward to meeting you, Pseu! I’m sure I’ll notice the altitude as well, I’m at 5,000 ft. now, and the extra 3,000 feet makes a difference. Couple years ago, I flew to LA, and it was such a pleasure to be at sea level!
I LOVE the pillow!!
