Fichu de la semaine
Here’s one way I like to wear a silk square. (Once again, apologies for the blurry pic; our camera’s autofocus seems to not be working well these days.)
Fold diagonally into an oblong, then wrap twice around the neck and tie in a square knot.
Scarf is “Kachinas” by Kermit Oliver.

Very nice! It’s stylish in that throwaway, effortlessly chic way.

I like this tie, it’s not too covered up for spring!
You are soooo ready for Paris!
Sue – thank you!
kathleen – yes, I can’t tolerate a lot of bulk around my neck; that’s why I like this style.
materfamilias – oh, yes…SO ready!
I almost bought a scarf but I couldn’t figure out what to do with it and then I remembered that soon you would show me–then I bought the scarf. Thanks, Deja Pseu!
Again, I love this site. I am not yet of a “certain age” but since I live in Austin Reed pantsuits and flats I feel like I’m sliding right off of the style map into “deemed man-hood” so I love the way you remind me that yes, I can do this, even if it seems unfamiliar and hard at times.
Now if I can just find replacements for my loafers…
Thank you, Rose! I get a lot of inspiration from you and the other PF ladies who really know how to rock a scarf.
Can’t believe I just found this blog!!! It’s great! I love the way you have tied this scarf, so effortless but chic.
Rose
Beautiful!
