What beautiful colors! I love the combination of scarf and jacket.
What rich colours!
It has that offhand, old money feel about it. Very nice!
One excellent scarf knot again! Actually I´m more interested about your RL jacket! I like the classic look of them, but nowadays when I´m so terribly sensible ( ! ), I realize that I have very little use for one. It´s just better I admire them from far.
Still waiting for that tutorial on how to make a scarf look this snazzy!
metscan – I find that mixing classic pieces with more casual or funky elements keeps them from looking to stodgy.
Gorgeous. Classic. Love it.
Couture Allure – I have to schedule a photographer. I need both hands to do the scarves which makes it tough to take pics. But I promise I will do this. 😉
Nancy – I wasn’t sure about these colors together, but it did work out. Karen and materfamilias have inspired me to be more daring with my color mixing.
Sal – thank you!
materfamilias – thanks! At first I didn’t think these colors would work for me, but was pleasantly surprised once I tried the scarf on.
Sue – thank you! The jacket is old anyway. ;-p
LBR – thanks! I’ll take Betty! At least I didn’t remind you of Thurston Howell III….
Good Life – I still say nobody does the equestrian jackets like Ralph. He totally gets it (not bad for a nice Jewish boy from the Bronx…)
For a second I thought you and I had the same jacket. I have one almost identical to that by banana republic. Love the scarf. This look reminds me of Betty on Madmen and that is a very good thing.
nice look…jacket similar to a RL i have in my closet 🙂 just love my RL jackets…you inspired me to pull out my scarves a few weeks ago but, i have not ventured into wearing any yet.
That’s such a classy combination. I like it that anyone can wear it, old and young.
Rooi – thanks! That’s what I tend to like about classic pieces, they really are more versatile than trends.
