I promised Wendy Brandes I’d carve a pumpkin to look like her grumpy-faced cat, FitzRoy. It’s a bit crude perhaps, but I think I’ve captured his essence here…
Crazy week here, but I’ll be back on Friday with a style-related post!

It’s excellent, you have carving skills!
Wow, you are a carving goddess! You have captured the essence of Fitzroy. Is Henri next??
Wow! Well done! That Trick really deserves a Treat. . . Happy Halloween!
Adorable! I went to fetch the newspaper today (yes I still get my news in print) and found that the squirrels had actually eaten through the top of my pumpkin, taken most of the seeds and left it gutted without a top. Almost looks like they carved it, but they left a mess. At least I contributed to their winter stash.
Well done !
Happy Halloween.
Total adorable.
I love it!
You totally nailed it. I’m agog 😮
Nicely done!!!
You and Wendy should be proud…really cute!!
Happy Halloween! Great job on the Fitzroy pumpkin. It looks just like him!

I was beyond thrilled that you took the time to do it, and I think it’s perfect! It really has his expression.
