Jaeger Tea
Even though the average temperature in LA this week will be higher than our average temperatures last summer, I know many of you are currently in colder environs. This will melt those icicles.

Yikes…is that good?
Great photo!
I think I’ll have a Jaegermeister Tea Party for friends one of these cold winter weekends!
That sounds like it has quite a kick. Maybe I’ll try it next time it snows.
Damn sight better than my usual cold rememdy, a pack of neocitran with a shot of Myers’s rum. Thanks for taking care of us polar bears.
I don’t know if there’s enough alcohol in that for me…
Belle – oh my yes. Absolutely yummy.
Materfamilias – great idea!
Nancy – yes, it does have quite a kick, and after just one you won’t feel the cold.
Duchesse – I’d wager you’ll be a very happy polar bear after one of these!
Wendyb – oh, you can certainly add more…some recipies I found had 3 oz. each of Schnapps and rum!
OMG!! That sounds like that is some strong tea.
My father’s cold remedy started with a bottle of whiskey and a hat. First, climb into bed. Take the hat off and put it somewhere you can see it. Then you drink hot tea and whiskey until you can see two hats, at which point you really don’t care how dire you’re feeling.
I love jaeger tea! We had a very very (like VERY) cold new years, around -15 atleast, and went out for a walk at night to a nearby little lake, accompanied by muled vine and jaeger tea. Lovely!
WHAT???? No “Jaegie” in the tea??? I will make anyway. Mater’s idea of a tea party is SPLENDID.
