pinstripe pants

I haven’t entirely signed on with the track-pants-as-daywear thing, but this navy pinstripe version might be enough to push me over the edge.

Also available in several solid colors. (Solid available in Tall sizes.)

  1. Interesting, but at 5’4″, not for me. The ankle length and the width of the opening would be an unflattering leg chopper on me. Odd how they chose to style with low cut pumps creating another horizontal line across the vamp visually shortening the leg yet again. I have been considering dressy sweats though, with cuffed bottoms and extremely fluid fit worn with booties or wedged sneakers, but haven’t taken the plunge as of yet!

  2. I’m putting together a post of my favourite spring sweat pant looks. Some of them look lovely, especially the ones from Vince. I haven’t tried the pants in the store yet, though. So all my drooling may be for naught. But what’s a girl to do in the depths (and I do mean depths…wrt snow) of winter, but yearn for spring?

  3. I am in Australia. Love your blog. I bought a navy and white striped pair in linen for work this summer. Absolutley brilliant and as I am under 5’2′ they do provide a illusion of height. They are beautifully cut and are not elastic waisted and obviously not sweat pants.

  4. I would not wear these because I don’t think the cut would be flattering on me. It could be darling on someone else though. And I agree with some of the other commenters – heels look too delicate and dressy for these pants. Flat sandals, platform sandals – something like that would work better. I am browsing for pants now, maybe a solid color – bright or neutral-ish – not sure, or maybe a print. I saw an expensive (for me) pair of Red Valentino pants in bright yellow with black and white flowers that got my attention. A pair of white Milly pants with a black stripe down each leg. I enjoy your posts and reading the comments.
