they’re ba-a-a-ck….

J.Crew linen 3/4 sleeve tee

…the J.Crew 3/4 sleeve linen tees. In lots of colors too. I picked up a couple of these last Spring and have worn them quite a bit. They run a bit larger than Crew’s cotton, and be warned the lighter colors are not opaque. You may want to add a camisole. Wash in cold water, line dry.

And, J.Crew has apparently gotten the memo:

what do you think of their suggestions? (More here.) I’m crushing on this lemon yellow jacket, in the “40’s” section.

  1. Those are great TVs, Susan. Perfect for nearly all year in Florida. I like to shop in the younger ages’ collections, as well. Little rebels, we are.

  2. These tees looked like just what I needed. Played it safe so ordered one in black, my first order ever with JCrew. Thanks for the post and for all your posts, your style and suggestions are guiding me towards fifty. Thank you! 🙂

  3. Jackets, yay. Striped track pants, nay. J. Crew linen tees? Love them, but caution, in my experience they are good for 2 seasons and then holes appear mysteriously, all over:). Mind you, they are worth it during the time they are around;).

  4. I could do with the Lemon Yellow trench, my favourite staple item in my favourite colour, almost Chartreuse! Nice post Susan, just caught up on a few of your other posts and love the sandals feature in the previous one, they look extremely comfortable!

  5. I have a real issue with t-shirts and other tops which are transparent and require wearing a camisole. In hotter than hell Texas, we don’t want more layers! I have the same issue with many Eileen Fisher tops and just don’t buy them any more. All that being said, what kind of camisole do you wear? Not good news that holes appear in these shirts! I’ve had that happen to shirts from other brands even sooner–and it keeps me from ever buying from them again.

  6. I agree with the comment above about camisoles under summer shirts. It’s really hot and humid here in DC in the summer, and the idea of wearing a cami under a T is just terrible. (Although, the fact that it’s near zero tonight with -15 wind chill makes it hard to even imagine being hot.)

  7. It’s getting entirely too expensive to read this blog – I keep buying what you suggest. Fortunately the yellow rain jacket wasn’t part of the 20% off sale, so I passed on that, but I bought several of the tees. Thank you for doing my shopping for me! I make sure to click on your links in the hope that you get a small commission.
