London Views And Some Summer Sales - une femme d'un certain âge

Room With A View: London

View of Brown Hart gardens in London from the west side. Details at une femme d'un certain age.

We arrived in London yesterday afternoon to lovely, mild weather. Quite a relief after the heat in Paris! Had a late lunch at a pub, then did some exploring on foot before getting ready for dinner. It’s supposed to be hot here today, but then cool down again tomorrow.

Today’s post will be brief, as I’m off to Red Leopard 🐆 this morning to have my color analysis!! I’m SO excited and will share some of the process later on my Instagram Stories.

Our last day in Paris was a full one! We picked up some gifts, I shopped les soldes (more on this Monday) and spent the evening walking about and taking photos. The heat is going to be brutal there today, so do take care, move slowly and drink plenty of water.

I’ll have more travel outfits, notes from Paris and London, and details of my Red Leopard session in the coming days. If you want to be sure not to miss anything, you can subscribe to new posts using the form below.

I feel for you in the heat. We live in australia where we suffered through a record hot summer. A mild winter is allowing us respite before we go through it again.

Currently in Germany! Hot, but linen and breezy cotton dresses are perfect! The fit-flop sandals are invaluable as we walk between 5-10 miles a day!! Lots of water and beer!!!!!!!

Where are you staying? I want to stay in a different place than we did the last 2 times there.

The K & K Hotel George was a block away from Earl’s Court underground station and easily made our July stay very accessible for getting to the spots we planned to see (Cotswalds, walking along the Thames). Just watch out for those small bathrooms!
