London, When It’s Sunny…
London has been giving us its best, weather-wise! It’s been sunny, warm and pleasant. I’m being spoiled rotten, both by the weather and my lovely friend Annie, with whom I’ve been staying.
The softer side of London…
It’s been too nice to stay indoors for long, so we’ve been doing lots of walking in nearby woods and parks.
This little green cardigan has been my MVP so far. I’ve worn it nearly every day, as it’s perfect to slip on when it’s cool in the morning…
but then can be tied over the shoulders when it warms up.

Monday, Annie introduced me to a well-kept secret not far from London: Isabella Plantation in Richmond Park. It’s peak azalea and rhododendron season, and the flowers were magnificent!
You could easily spend several hours here. (Be advised, it’s a bit of a walk to get there from the parking area, though I believe there’s a shuttle. And unless you have your own car, you’ll need to arrange a rideshare pickup, as no busses or taxis are close by.)
But we’re making plenty of time to play dress up too 😂 👇

Is this brilliant or what? If you have room in your luggage for a hard-sided cosmetic case, this one opens up flat so you can see everything without having to dump it out on the counter.
For the past few months I’ve been on the hunt for a natural deodorant that actually works and lasts. A couple of weeks before I left on this trip, I started using this brand and love it. So I ordered the “discovery set” to have travel sizes on hand. It Really Works!
Next stop, Paris!

I’m curious about whether in London these days, as in so many other major cities, the “cool” people only wear solid neutrals. I just returned from Japan and it’s all black and beige there. Not that we need to care about such things . . .
I’m seeing both neutrals and color being worn.
