I’m a serious coffee hound, and found this informative and amusing. Enjoy!

  1. That was an excellent video, thanks! My first thing to do in the morning is to ingest 4 cups of coffee before breakfast, then I don’t want any more until sometimes 1 cup or a latte in the afternoon. When I had surgery and wasn’t allowed anything except water after midnight, I acquired caffeine patches online.

  2. I love my coffee. The very first thing I think about when my eyes open is “where is my coffee” My least favorite part of being in a hotel is having to leave the room to get decent coffee. I have even ordered room service coffee to avoid that.

  3. Great video! Did the announcer sound a bit over-caffeinated to you?

I have extremely low blood pressure (90/60 many days) and my doctor recommended a good strong cup in the morning to get me up and moving.

With just a little bit of chauvinism, I have to say that I think Spanish “torrefacto” coffee is the best. It’s roasted in sugar, so it has a caramel flavor, no bitterness. I always bring lots back when I visit Madrid.

  4. I really enjoyed the video..but I do not know how I feel about the new information that the trees produce it as an insecticide! I need to quickly forget that in order to enjoy the mass quantities I consume daily!! I love your business casual style posted in the sidebar…great look!!

  5. Thanks, nice to know it’s a small vice we can feel good about! Even better, my DH is now well trained to make our first pot every morning :).

  6. My blood pressure is pretty much the same as Ruby’s so my doctors recommended coffee as well. Besides I love, absolutely adore the stuff. Mine is organic and fair trade, a little ethical contribution towards a better world on my part.

  7. I had just sat down with my afternoon cup, and what a treat that video was. But I can’t type near as fast as that narrator spoke.

  8. I used to talk like that guy, until I gave up coffee.

I was waking up at night and my doctor suggested I cut caffeine. Without the wonderful caffeine buzz, I kind of lost interest in drinking it.

  9. I did not drink coffee until I was in my late 40’s. I always thought it smelled wonderful but tasted awful. Then I discovered caffe mocha. That was my downfall. I now drink coffee every day. I try to never drink it too late in the day or I can’t sleep either.
