I’m a firm believer in the power of shoes to put an “exclamation point” on a simple outfit. The style doesn’t need to be elaborate or extreme or uber-trendy. Here’s a fresh take on a classic loafer that adds a nice finish to a casual outfit.
These navy patent lug-sole loafers (gifted) from SARTO by Franco Sarto are well under $100 during the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale. They are incredibly comfortable, too! The uppers are soft, and the footbed is well padded. I love the modern edge the lug soles add, and they’re quite flexible to walk in.
I was able to wear these right out of the box, and the fit is true-to-size. (Reviews are mixed regarding sizing and width, but I found my usual 7.5 was a good fit.) There is some arch support.

This is my go-to daily moisturizer, and I usually pick up a couple jars when we’re in Paris. But on our visit in April I left it to the last minute, and then forgot! Just on a whim, I checked amazon and was happy to see it was included in Prime Day markdowns (today’s the last day).

I think Sarto by Franco Sarto is a hugely underrated line of shoes. I have several pairs of Sarto loafers that are beautiful Italian leather, inside and out, that I’ve loved. However, looking at their website, it seems that line has been discontinued.
Actually, now I’m not sure whether the line is discontinued or not. Ignore my comment, please, other than saying I love Sarto loafers!
It looks like those shoes are sold out already and today is the first day that I can shop the sale. Sigh

Hmm, I’m seeing the navy as still available in most sizes. Are you in Canada? Or perhaps looking at a different color? My suggestion is to add to your wishlist or bookmark, and keep checking back as many items are restocked during the sale.
I always enjoy the big, chunky shoes and laugh because on my size 12 feet they are absolutely all encompassing even at almost 6’ tall! Shorter women have so many more fashion choices and buying options then their taller counterparts who have longer arms, waists, legs etc. I’m assuming pour shorter sister may have some similar issues. Guess what, most men don’t!!
Revitabrow is cheaper at the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale than the Prime Day price on Amazon because of the 2/1 pricing. I swear by it and buy for the year.
