  1. There are lots of possibilities there but I haven’t unpacked yet largely because my closets and drawers are too full. But I really would like a single breasted petite trench since the others tend to make me look like a stormtrooper.

  2. Absolutely, every women ought to have a tuxedo jacket and this one is perfect! Now that Nordstrom ships to South Africa, it makes it so much more accessible to shop across the globe!

  3. Thanks for the heads up! Ordered the tuxedo jacket – had been hoping it would go on sale! I just hope it fits…I am 5″4″ so always hard to know whether to choose regular or petite when ordering online!

  4. Love the collar on the jacket – it’s a bit unusual and works really well – Love the asymmetric blouse under the jacket as well – that’s an eye catcher

    1. I picked up a black and brown print tuxedo jacket a few years ago at Macy’s but haven’t worn it as I wasn’t sure how to. I’m glad to see this paired with an asymmetrical top; it gives me an idea or two. Circumstances had me at Nordstrom yesterday and I picked up the Eileen Fisher blue linen top at a great sale price. It is somewhat sheer and I have tank tops that will work well underneath. This may be news to me only, but I am happy to report that though I tried on other linen tops that were scratchy and needed to be removed immediately, the EF linen top is soft, soft, soft.
