Ringing in the Cozy Pajamas Season
The minute the twinkle lights go up, I’m ready for peak cozy season, which for me starts with a pair of flannel pajamas. Give me a cute print, soft cotton, and a mug of something warm, and suddenly even the busiest holiday week feels a little more relaxing.
Fun Flannel Pajamas
These are 100% cotton and super soft. They’re available in two different fun prints! Perfect for “couch time” with Bella, and a good book (or the latest Britbox series 😉).

Sizes: I’m wearing a Small in the pajamas.

Susan—I would love a post on sleepwear for petite height women. Just wondering how long the pants and sleeves were on this pair of pjs? Hard to tell by the way you’re modeling them. I’m 5’ so it’s almost impossible to buy long pjs without paying to have them hemmed. Even long nightgowns are usually too long also.
These are a little long on the legs, so here I’ve turned up the hem. The sleeves have the fun contrasting color and embroidery on the cuffs and the length was perfect with the cuffs turned up. I’ll see if they shrink any when I wash them, and may get them hemmed. It is tough finding full-length pajamas for petites. I also sometimes look for ‘capri’ lengths.
Bedhead makes cropped length pajamas with three-quarter sleeves.
Lands End has petite and tall pajamas.
Hi Susan, you look great, as always. Warm pajamas are so desirable right now. I am petite and use the same strategy with pajama sizing. Or, sometimes, if it’s a family type of situation just buy a big kids’ pair.
Bella steals the show, though, she is extra adorable with that bow.
Susan, I have you to thank for my favorite two sets of pajamas that you featured a couple of years ago. You linked them in your story, and I immediately bought two sets and have loved them ever since! Of course, now those particular pajamas are no longer available, and I dread the day these beloved pajamas wear out! Thank you!
Susan, it’s Lee Ann … three years later. Those beloved pajamas finally fell apart, and I am devastated! Nothing else is quite as good as those were. Thank you for giving me a few years when I really loved my pajamas! Hope you are enjoying these holidays.
These are so cute!! I love the print. I’m a martini girl!
You look super cute in those PJ’s. I don’t think we have such fun ones over here. Espresso Martini is a nice cocktail. As the name indicates, a bit coffee flavoured although there is no Martini in it. I think the Pornstar Martini is even better. Again there is no Martini in it and neither is it drunk by a pornstar or are you one. Strange name haha.

I love flannel for lounging, but I can’t sleep in them. Even though it gets cold in the Northeast, I sleep in sleeveless tops and cotton bottoms. I lean hot.
SuD, I totally agree. Lounging in flannels is nice, but I wear a cotton tank top/short set to bed year round.
Totally agree. I’m in Chicago. No matter how cold, 100 percent cotton (no flannel) pj bottoms and cotton tshirt.
You must try an Expresso Martini! Very tasty!! Nice “pick me up” in the afternoon! (on a cruise ship!)
I live in New England, and it gets cold here. But we turn the heat down at night and wear flannel PJs. Add socks and pull the covers over your ears if it’s really cold – LOL. Love these PJs. They look perfect.
Your post zapped me right into the holiday mood! Delightful! Thank you, Susan.
How adorable is the pup with that bow!
Those look cozy !
I have such a hard time with sleepwear being petite. Everything is too long—sleeves and pant lengths. I noticed you have your sleeves turned up. If a petite lady wanted to order these pjs, the pictures are deceiving—the seated position shows the original hem with the edging & your standing position cuts off the bottom of the pants. We can’t see how much excess fabric you’re stepping on when you walk which would be a tripping hazard. If you wanted to have them shortened, it would be expensive to keep the original hem with the piping.
Hi Rosie, yes being petite makes it more challenging. The sleeves on these are designed to be rolled up, as there’s some cute embroidery on the inside of the cuffs. The pants are about an inch too long for me, so I turn them up to wear around the house. I also usually wear with my Birkenstock Boston shearling clogs, which keeps the pants from getting underfoot. For flannel pajamas in Petite sizes, Lands’ End has a good selection: https://go.shopmy.us/p-35602848
What adorable pajamas! (Also great for wearing to the airport. Ha, ha!)
😉
I LOVE my PJ Salvage flannel pajamas! So soft and comfortable. Mine are the pink and red ‘Tini Time print. Wearing them to my ladies holiday book club celebration this week 😘!!
Uniqlo will shorten your pajama pants! https://www.uniqlo.com/us/en/size/alterations.html
You look great and the PJs suit your style. However, I am looking for sleepwear that is pattern free, in black and in natural fibres at a reasonable price point. It seems to be a unicorn. In other areas of style it isn’t a problem but suddenly we get to sleepwear all we get is cute. I have no problem with those that like this but I can’t be the only one that wants something different.
These PJ’s are so cute. I love them. 180 degrees difference to my shabby nightwear. I would love to have them but the trousers will rise in bed and we have a very cold bed.

Thanks, Greetje!
Love the picture of you and Bella being cozy and cute together.
We rescued a sweetie that looks like Bella. Any idea on Bella’s breed?
Hi Regina, thanks, she’s a real Heinz 57! Per the doggie DNA test she’s a mix Chihuahua, Pomeranian, Poodle, Cocker Spaniel, Llasa Apso and Maltese.
Thanks, we may never know our Coco’s origin, but she’s a sweetheart.
