  1. All week long I look forward to your “Sunday Music Corner” to see what amazing song you are going to come up. “Cruel To Be Kind” was such a huge hit, and I had forgotten about it completely.

  2. Is that Carlene Carter, Mrs. Lowe at the time? He still looks cute all gray now, and still writing great songs.

  3. Love this!

Meanwhile someone on my blog just Questioned my Taste in Cutlery (you might knwo this as Flatware) and said it belongs in a cheap beach house. In Australia beach houses cost upwards of $3 million dollars (and that’s not beach front either) so frankly where is this cheap beach house??????

    The cutlery stays.

  4. A friend of mine had a string quartet play an arrangement of “I Knew the Bride” at her wedding. It was lovely–and her parents never knew why the rest of us where smiling…

  5. OMG! I LOVED those guys! Didn’t think of them for years until I got a new car with a free XM Radio trial – and some of those “throwback” stations play Nick, Dave and/or Rockpile.

I even liked Carlene’s solo songs, but it’s so sad the way she got into drugs and fell into a deep dark hole.
