Aquaphor Healing Ointment. Still the best for winter-chapped and roughened skin.

Yesterday we had quite the unexpected snowstorm…great for snow pack, but not so much fun to ski in.  A few hours of being pelted in the face with wind-blown snow sent me straight to the tube as soon as we came in. I slathered a layer on my own and petit monsieur’s faces, and then applied again right before bed. This morning all of the redness/roughness is gone.

We now have about 6″ of new snow, and better weather conditions. It’s our last day of skiing today and I will be making the most of it!!

  1. I keep a small “tub” of it, as it is a regular part of my morning toilette. Feet and legs, mostly. Glad you have had a great trip, Pseu.

  2. I’m an Aquaphor addict. Remember “My Big Fat Greek Wedding” – and how her father thinks Windex is the cure for everything? Well that’s me with Aquaphor. Hope you’re having a great time.

I love to use a cold-protection cream in advance – Weleda wetterbalsam. with bee-wax and almond-oil, calendula.

We had two weeks with permanent frost, the longest frost period since records started.
