Inspired By A French Kitchen…
When Sharon announced that August’s “My Stylish French Box” would have a kitchen theme, I couldn’t wait to see what items she had selected. Now that we’ve updated our kitchen, I’ve had a renewed interest in cooking and decorating the space.
Each one of these boxes that I’ve received has been a delight, however I think this box is the best one yet!
The gifts included in the August My Stylish French Box are not only beautiful, but can be put to good use in the kitchen. I love the touches of copper, which add warmth. I’ll use those cannelé molds for tea candles, or even nuts on an apéro platter.
I use an apron daily, so this was my favorite item in the box. Sharon also included a booklet with some of her favorite recipes. I’ve already been thumbing through will be trying some soon.
And I’m going to try making this chocolate fondant cake over the weekend. It’s one of le Monsieur’s favorite desserts.
The August box is sold out, however you can still sign up for the November “My Stylish French Box.” All of the boxes contain uniquely French items curated by Sharon Santoni. Price includes shipping. These boxes make wonderful gifts too.
Disclosure: the August My Stylish French Box was gifted.
And speaking of French kitchen inspiration, some artwork we purchased in Paris to put on one of the walls is finally ready to be picked up today from the frame shop. I can’t wait to see it and share with you!
After what felt like the longest two weeks of my life (!!!) I now have a temporary front tooth. It’s on a retainer-like device the dentist calls a “flipper.” It looks pretty good though. I have to remove it at night but at least I can eat with it in place, so can again enjoy a social life out in the world. 😆 In a few months, the surgeon will determine if the bone in my upper jaw has healed enough to place the implant. After that, I’ll have to wait another few months before I can get my new “permanent” tooth.
What are you cooking this weekend?
