Like the idea of velvet and lace – and the Breton top with the jacket. Mixing it up Jenna Lyons style!
Love the Breton tee, my fav!
Gorgeous sets! I’m wearing the outfit on the right today (minus the divine velvet jacket) to do paperwork at the office. Might I *borrow* that velvet jacket?? ; >
Have a fantastic Chritmas, my dear friend.

That jacket is going to be such a boon! I love the way you’ve styled it into a mix that could go anywhere.
Have loved my black velvet swing jacket for more years than I’ve had children. Wear it with jeans and a white tee or a pencil skirt and heels.
I adore the velvet jacket you have shown here. I recently purchase a black velvet jacket after searching for years for one in retails stores. I found it, of course in a thrift shop.
I love the deep purple! Jon Bon Jovi often sports velvet jackets …and I must say he inspired my own search for one. Love them.
Yes, velvet can go either way. I like both outfits you’ve pictured.
Happy holidays to you too!
It is definitely down to those last very hectic days before the holiday… I’ve always loved black velvet for special occasions, but have shied away from it in recent years and I’m not sure why!
You’ve put me in the mood again, and I’m wondering if there’s a velvet jacket somewhere in the back of my closet. I know there’s one in a deep ruby red with a little bit of a ruffle that just hangs softly. Beautiful over all black. (I’m going In Search Of…)
Love that velvet jacket and that laced shirt.
I don’t think you’ll have any problems styling that great velvet jacket. Very Happy Holidays to you as well.
Love the idea of a striped T. to balance my pear shape. Groovy jacket. That’s the one you were wearing earlier this week, right? I’d love to raid your closet, friend!
What a gorgeous velvet jacket. You will get so much use out of it for years to come. Both ways that you styled it are perfection! Happy holidays.
Falling in love with a garment is a wonderful moment; you see it as your BFF and it miraculously goes with everything. I think it would be a neat lesson to re-love a garment that once held such promise- we all have them languishing in our closets. And this one is stellar!
Happy Holidays to you! You are one of my favorite blogs. I hope you have a nice and peaceful season.
It’s a busy time for many of us…
I can so relate!
Hope you are enjoying this festive season and having fun with fashion.
I’ve no doubt that you’ll be looking chic and inspiring women wherever you go.
Happy Holidays!
Merry Christmas to you and your family!

Happy Holidays to you too.. Loving that jacket. xxx
Velvet and lace together – but of course. 🙂
Happy holidays! xo
Gorgeous ensembles – especially love the lace top and the Fluevogs. The asymmetric closure on the velvet blazer and its amazing colour are divine. Wishing you plenty of happiness amid all the hectic!
Lovely pics- I think I need those flats, stat!
Oooh, I love it all!!!!
Wishing you another stylish and chic year my dear! all the best to you and yours!
Happy New Year!!!
