beauty splurge: eve lom tlc crème hydratante
Over the weekend I was making a quick pass through the Space NK boutique at Bloomingdales. The Sales Associate offered some samples, and I’m never one to say no to beauty product samples. 😉 At that point we had a Santa Ana just beginning to blow in, so I asked for something in a moisturizing mask. The SA tossed a few packets my way, including this product from Eve Lom, which while not technically a mask, provides some serious hydration.
As someone who used to have seriously oily skin, I’m still adjusting to post-menopausal dryness. I find that fall and winter, between Santa Ana’s (with don’t-use-your-cell-phone-at-the-gas-station negative humidity levels) and cold nights requiring interior heating, are the seasons when my skin is driest. After using this stuff for the last two nights, I’m really impressed with not only the immediate results, but how much more hydrated my skin feels even through the next day. Warm up a small amount in your hands and then press (don’t rub) into skin. A little goes a LONG way.
