Sifting Through The Black Friday Sales

Tis the season. I don’t know about you, but I feel like the Black Friday sale emails start coming earlier every year. 🎃 Seriously though, it’s easy to get overwhelmed. So to help you cut through the clutter, I’ve been browsing and bookmarking some favorites.

I’d like to start with some of my favorite smaller brands, because they often get lost in all of the hoopla.

While it’s easy to find One Hit Wonders on sale, I’m always on the lookout for good quality basics. Not as thrilling perhaps, but far less likely to end up in a giveaway pile.

Nordstrom is having a heckuva Cyber sale. Lots of Eileen Fisher in the mix, including shoes and accessories. I like this ribbed merino wool sweater (not too boxy, not too snug) which is 50% off and also available in Black and Cashew (light beige). Plus here.

There are a lot of good Plus selections too, including this ribbed wool cardigan, which is much better in person than it looks here.

A good quality wool coat an investment piece for sure, but 33% off helps you hit your Cost Per Wear target a little sooner. Also available in Black and Camel.
