Bonjour Talbots!

Une femme’s entries in the Talbots Polyvore contest.   Probably not what they were going for, but I had fun.  Wish me luck!

  1. Oh, Pseu, exactly, “Who knew?”

Love the camel coat. Already own a gray coat, but haven’t had a camel one for years.

Let’s go shopping together when you’re in Paris next year. How does that sound? Then we can rest with a coupe after. Are you onboard?

  2. Oh, I especially like that last one — it’s making me wonder if I should look for some camel gloves to “pop” my grey coat. I’m wishing you luck, and my fingers are crossed.

  3. J’adore number three. Bonne chance!

And thank you for reminding me that I own a very cute charcoal boiled wool coat from last year…more Shopping in the Closet

  4. That’s Not My Age – this will be the year to shop for camel, I think.

Tish Jett – oh yes, we are SO going to go shopping!!!

hostess of the humble bungalow – merci!

Susan – thank you so much! I was telling someone recently that Polyvore is like paper dolls for grownups…

    pasunejeunefille – thank you!

  5. Tiffany – you are too kind, thank you!

Semi Expat – that camel coat is a winner for sure. After seeing some of the other entries, don’t think I have a chance, but it was fun.

WendyB – well, I got the shoes right I think.

materfamilias – that one’s my favorite too. I love camel with grey (rust too).

She Wore It Well – thank you!

Rubiatonta – Thanks! I’ve been wanting to go try on that grey coat, but shopping the closet is even better!

  6. Pseu, I am really going to school on your recent Polyvores. Who needs fashion magazines or stylists when there are such terrific fashion bloggers around. Also Talbots is fabulous this season. I’ve purchased several pieces including a gorgeous charcoal wool single button jacket. Very Paris worthy. Which is extra nice as my family and I are committing to finally traveling there over two weeks next November.
