Foulard de la semaine
C’est un peu “da-dame” peut-être, but I do like how this scarf brings together the navy top and avocado sweater (yes, avocado…I’m one of those few oddballs who can wear it).

Very cute comment from Sal…scarves as fashions diplomats.
I like the somewhat rough bangle avec.
I really like that colour… and it is surprisingly versatile–Pucci (or at least the now departed Matthew Williamson) has been teaming it up with navy, raspberry, burgundy-brown, teal, to great effect.
Looks great on you!
You can indeed! Don’t you love how scarves can make peace among otherwise warring garments?
Love! All of it, Miss Pseu.
Wow, can you ever. Yet another talent!
I like! Very much.
With your personality, Pseu, you could never achieve “dadame”– sorry!
I love the jauntiness of that scarf, tied precisely that way.
Your picture shows once again, that a nice scarf can be just as nice as a necklace.
I adore your blog & yes that scarf is le’ magnifique! I love a great outfit with a smashing scarf.
Hope you went out on the town looking so good?
Cheers ~ deb
I was just thinking how great you look in that color as I saw the photo, then I read your comment; hah! Brilliant!
Sal – thanks, and yes, that’s one of the best things about scarves!
Belle – Fashion Diplomats…love it!
LPC – thank you. It’s a Talbot’s piece.
Katriona – Pucci does some great (and unexpected) color combos that somehow seem to work. I’ve found this to be a very versatile color. I love it with turquoise too.
Miss Janey – thanks so much!
Duchesse – probably not a talent so much as genetic inheritance and dumb luck, but thank you!
😉
Marieanne – thank you.
materfamilias – thanks for your reassurance. I think wearing silk scarves off-center helps to overcome an otherwise stodgy effect.
metscan – thank you! I tend to think of them as fabric necklaces.
Deb – thanks so much! I actually wore this ensemble to work, so it did “go public.”
enc – thank you. It would be fun to take a poll of what colors are supposed to be “unwearable” that look good some of us…hmm, that gives me an idea.
