Foulard de la semaine

More playtime with color. The melon color of this sweater works very well with this “Les Toits de Paris” carré in a rust, copper, brick red, green and grey colorway.

When this scarf came available at Luxury-Scarves.com, I couldn’t resist, as the images brought back fond memories of our last trip to Paris…

With Hermès scarves, the fun is always in the details. I love the little family of mice sitting on the rooftop!

  1. What a delightful scarf! I love the mice too, and the birds flying over the border are a great detail.

And the colour is prefect with your melon sweater.

  2. Charming! Le Duc is eyeing the Hermes tie with cats on the front and scampering mice on the narrow ‘underside’. They do whimsy very well!

  3. Charming scarf! I followed the link to the Fourth of July post. What amazing dogs! The costumes – the “hairstyles” – the expressions! I’m using the pic as my desktop wallpaper.

  4. This is a lovely colorway for this scarf. You have a great scarf collection, I always look forward to your “Foulard de la semaine” posts.

  5. The mice are darling! I always feel odd about rolling up scarves with elaborate scenes on them, as if I’m masking their true beauty … but, of course, they are designed to be beautiful rolled and wadded, just like this gorgeous scarf.

  6. Do you know if the mouse scarf is still available? I am not much of a scarf lover but I think I may have to have that.

  7. A charming scarf with all the small details. As I have said before, you master the scarf business. I´m still trying to get used to the pashminas and leggings ( hello Imogen!).
