There’s Still Time…

Gap sweater
Gap Eversoft Striped Sweater

Until midnight ET tonight you can still get 40% off this sweater and everything else at Gap, and get delivery by 12/24. I’ll admit it, I liked the color and shape of this sweater so much that I ordered one in Petite. It’s really nice, especially at the sale price. (Yes, I got the 40% off!) Very soft, flattering and I love this periwinkle stripe. The sweater is available in Regular, Tall and Petite and IMO runs just a wee bit large. Order a size down for a more fitted look. Several color combos available too.

Is there anything cuter than Gap Kids?

Jeune homme is now in MEN’S sizes (I know!!). I miss shopping for cute little shirts for him, so I’ll have to live vicariously through all of you with grandchildren. Time goes by so fast. It’s a good thing they don’t have Gap Dogs, or mine would would be strutting around the neighborhood in matching Breton stripe sweaters….

  1. I followed the link to the striped onesie, oops, i mean bodysuit, and was just surfing around and almost spit my coffee out when I came across the polo shirt and plaid button down shirt style bodysuits. Too funny. It is like a 1980’s preppie flashback! It is a shame they don’t have Gap Cats either, because my two would be strutting popped collar polos “fur sure”.

  2. Talk about shopping for baby sizes….I was at Nordstrom today with my college age daughters. We were standing near the restroom and a woman went by us with an adorable baby in a stroller. I complimented the adorableness, and then said, “and then they grow up to look like this”, referring to my 6 foot tall baby girl. The woman said, “Oh I know, it’s so sad!” as she went into the restroom. Lol. My daughters both looked offended! I had to laugh. To be sure, it’s way less fun to buy them clothes now than it was when they were babies/toddlers. Maybe grandchildren, in about 10 years?

  3. It was a very odd comment, to put it mildly…

Jill Ann, take your daughter to Amsterdam, she’ll be around average height there. I’ve bought trousers for tall friends there.

Amsterdam has changed; young people nowadays seem more interested in internet cafés than doper coffeeshops…

pseu, not my colours. My favourite recently among those you’ve shown is the grey and black Eileen Fisher marinière, but so expensive. In the summer I’ve referred to a grey t-shirt as “pastel”, cracking up friends, though actually I do wear some colour.
